Prompt #2

Hello!
I'm back at work after a long weekend - 4½ days off from work due to Labour Day on Thursday, May 1st. It's been really cold and not very spring like, with strong wind and snow, hail and rain. It's been strangely sunny but no one has wanted to go outdoors anyway due to the various stuff falling from the sky.

I haven't done much scrapbooking and I didn't have time to celebrate (inter)National Scrapbooking Day as I had hoped for. But perhaps I can find time during the week, I've seen that some challenges last the whole week.

Today I'm sharing the result of my second prompt for my own challenge Ten to the Power of Å-some. I chose the embroidery prompt and my project helped reminding me why I do this so very seldom. I hate it. Frankly. It is sooo slow! Here is the result anyway, and I've decided to call this prompt done.

My embroidery floss is for making bows and knots, for making small balls and paths on my pages, not for sewing. It is lovely to realize that and be OK with it!

Have a wonderful day - and week!
Hugs from Åsa

  2. Well, it looks fabulous and it was worth the effort. One of the many wonderful things about the scrapbooking hobby is that you don't have to dive into a huge project of something only to figure out it isn't what you want to do.
